771. Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal Unveils Rs 1,500 Crore Boost with 16 Infrastructure and 113 CSR Projects at New Mangalore Port’s Golden Jubilee
- On November 13, 2025, At Mangaluru, Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways attended the Golden Jubilee of the New Mangalore Port Authority, inaugurating, dedicating, and laying foundation stones for 16 infrastructure projects and 113 CSR initiatives worth ₹1,500 crore during the 50-year celebration.
- Union Minister highlighted NMPA’s transformation under PM of India, inaugurated MMCT’s renovated campus, opened the ₹9.51-crore MMD office, and noted NMPA’s strong investor confidence shown through ₹52,000 crore in MoUs signed during India Maritime Week 2025.
- NMPA grew from four berths in 1975 to 16 berths handling 46 million tonnes annually, aims for 100 million tonnes by 2047, leads India in coffee exports, has 92% mechanisation, and plans deep-draft terminals, LNG capacity, cruise terminals, and carbon neutrality.
772. Indian Army deploys 16,000-ft monorail built by Gajraj Corps:Enables faster, safer supply delivery across Arunachal Pradesh’s rugged Himalayan terrain
- On November 14, 2025 It was reported that, The Indian Army’s Gajraj Corps has deployed an indigenous high-altitude monorail system in the Kameng Himalayan region of Arunachal Pradesh to speed up supply delivery across terrain where roads are absent and vehicle movement is impossible.
- Developed by the Gajraj Corps (IV Corps), the monorail operates up to 16,000 feet, enabling faster, safer transport of essential supplies. It reduces soldiers’ physical strain caused by narrow trails, loose rocks, harsh weather, and low-oxygen conditions.
- Gajraj Corps, raised on October 4, 1962, is headquartered in Tezpur and oversees the 71 Mountain Division, 5 “Ball of Fire” Division, and 21 “Real Horn” Division. It also established specialised glacier huts to strengthen high-altitude troop support.
773. Assam Cabinet Approves Rs 765-Crore For Redevelopment Of Nehru Stadium
- On November 13, 2025 in Guwahati, the Assam Cabinet approved a ₹765-crore redevelopment of the RG Baruah Sports Complex, upgrading Nehru Stadium into a world-class, multi-sport facility to meet modern infrastructure needs and support the state’s growing athletic demands.
- Chief Minister of Assam announced that the project will be implemented through government-led planning, adding football, swimming, badminton, table tennis, and training arenas. The Cabinet also approved initiatives like blood donation camps and the ‘Asom Mala 3.0’ connectivity project.
- The Cabinet declared Ledo Namdang a Protected Reserve Forest, approved a land-relinquishment-based embankment policy, finalised the 2026 holiday calendar, extended special leave under ‘Matri-Pitri Vandana’, and decided to publish the 1983 Assam Disturbances Inquiry Commission report.

774. Delhi govt approves ₹220 crore project under new drainage master plan in waterlogging prone Kirari
- On November 12, 2025, Delhi approved ₹220 crore for constructing a 4.5 km drain from Mundka Halt to Najafgarh, targeting Kirari, one of the city’s most waterlogging-prone areas, under the new Drainage Master Plan.
- The project, led by Chief Minister and overseen by Irrigation & Flood Control Minister, will be executed via a contract through a bidding process on land owned by Northern Railway.
- The drain, covering 70 unauthorised colonies, Nangloi Jaat, Bawana, and Mundka constituencies, will replace old drainage networks, improve flood management, and is expected to be completed in two phases by 2027, following MoUs with DDA, MCD, and PWD.
775. Andhra inks deals with two Taiwanese companies involving Rs 18,400 crore investment
- On November 13, 2025, Andhra Pradesh CM announced MoUs worth ₹18,400 crore with Allegiance Group and Creative Sensor Inc. to strengthen the state’s industrial sector.
- The CM noted that eJoule India JV, a partnership between eJoule Inc (USA), Creative Sensor Inc (Taiwan) and Senaste Technologies LLP (India) will invest Rs 18,000 at Orvakal in Kurnool district.
- As part of the deal, eJoule India JV will establish India's first 23 GWh precursor-free single-crystal cathode active material and a solid state electrolyte manufacturing facility.According to the CM, this investment will generate around 2,000 direct jobs.

776. India’s textile exports to 111 countries record 10% growth during Apr-Sept: Govt
- On November 12, 2025 textile minister said Between April and September 2025, India’s textile exports to 111 countries grew 10% to $8,489.08 million from $7,718.55 million, an increase of $770.3 million.
- Major growth markets included the UAE (14.5%), Japan (19%), Spain (9%), France (9.2%), and Egypt (27%), driven by Ready-Made Garments and Jute sectors.
- The Textile Ministry credited this performance to export diversification under “Make in India” and “Aatmanirbhar Bharat,” showcasing the industry’s adaptability and competitiveness amid global headwinds.

777. Godrej delivers first human-rate L110 stage Vikas engine to ISRO
- On November 13, 2025 Godrej Aerospace delivered the first human-rated L110 stage Vikas engine to ISRO’s Gaganyaan project, which will conduct its first uncrewed test flight early next year.
- Developed in collaboration with ISRO and LPSC, the engine represents Godrej’s decades-long role in India’s space missions, including Chandrayaan and NISAR, showcasing its precision and reliability.
- The Gaganyaan mission will use the human-rated LVM-3 rocket to carry astronauts safely around Earth, marking a moment of national pride and technological excellence for India’s space sector.

778. NCRTC launches ‘Solar on Track’ at Duhai depot, a first in metro systems
- On November 12, 2025 the NCRTC inaugurated the ‘Solar on Track’ project at the Namo Bharat Depot, Duhai, Ghaziabad India’s first solar installation on a Rapid Rail or metro track, spanning 70 metres with a 15.4 kWp capacity.
- The initiative, developed by NCRTC officials, uses 28 high-capacity 550 Wp solar panels to generate about 17,500 kWh annually, reducing nearly 16 tonnes of CO₂ emissions through efficient infrastructure use.
- The project supports NCRTC’s goal of meeting 70% of energy needs from renewables, adds to its 5.5 MW existing solar capacity, and complements green efforts like rainwater harvesting, sewage treatment, and regenerative braking.
779. Tripura CM Dr Manik Saha Inaugurates 48 New Quarters and 10 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in Dhalai District
- Tripura Chief Minister On November 13, 2025, virtually inaugurated 48 new residential quarters and 10 newly constructed Ayushman Arogya Mandirs at Dhalai District Hospital, marking a significant boost to the region’s healthcare infrastructure.
- The 10 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs have been strategically established under two administrative zones. Under the Ambassa Primary Health Centre, the facilities are located at Lalchhari, Balaram, Kamalachhara, Shikaribari, and Ghantachhara.
- The 10 Ayushman Arogya Mandirs are distributed under Ambassa and Kamalpur zones, providing free diagnostics, treatment, and strengthened primary healthcare facilities for the rural population.

780. India's smartphone exports hit record $2.4 billion in October; First seven months total $16 billion
- On November 12, 2025 It was reported that, In October 2025, India recorded smartphone exports worth $2.4 billion-the highest for the month-bringing total exports for April–October 2025-26 to $16 billion, up from $10.6 billion last year.
- About 75% of exports came from Apple vendors Foxconn and Tata Electronics, 14% from Samsung, and 11% from others. The growth reflects strong manufacturing momentum and effective supply chain shifts under the PLI scheme.
- ICEA warned that reduced US tariffs on Chinese imports and India’s 12–14% cost disadvantage could hurt competitiveness once the PLI incentives end in 2026, urging continued policy support to sustain export growth.
